hello there!

My name is Christine, and I absolutely LOVE to teach music to all ages and levels! I started playing piano, violin and singing at a young age and believe that everyone can learn and enjoy music. Miller Music School is currently located in Renton, WA. We also have many students from Bellevue, New Castle, Issaquah, Redmond, Mercer Island, Kent and Federal Way.

I have been teaching music lessons for over ten years in public and private schools, locally and internationally, and in group and private settings. I've enjoyed teaching and performing with all sorts of groups including college orchestras, chamber groups, summer campers, churches, nursing homes and even volunteering in youth detention centers! Music is my passion and I can't wait to share it with others!

 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific Lutheran University (on Music Scholarship) with a Bachelor in Music Composition. While at PLU, I was a member of the University Symphony Orchestra playing violin and also various chamber and solo settings on the piano.  The University Symphony Orchestra selected me as the "Student Spotlight Composer" to premier my symphonic composition, "Barenis". I am a National Certified Teacher of Music and member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

Miller Music School is a Founding School with the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program. My students have won State and Center Awards as well as high marks on assessments.

Most of all, I am thankful to be a wife to my amazing husband and mother to our precious daughter! I love Jesus, aviation, photography and playing with my daughter. Everyday is a new opportunity to learn and make a difference! :)
